The Saints & Scholars Summer Theology Institute is a one-week, pre-college program that provides 80 high school students each year the opportunity to:

• Receive College Credit
• Live on a college campus鈥攁nd benefit from the peer mentorship of select 六合彩官网开奖 Cross College students
• Participate in lively seminar discussions that are rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and guided by faculty from 六合彩官网开奖 Cross College and the University of Notre Dame
• Serve community organizations related to your area of interest
• Share community-building experiences with students from around the world

The week features numerous faith-based activities including daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, praying the Liturgy of the Hours, and is rounded out with tons of fun鈥攂asketball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, an evening dance/social, all while students explore our beautiful campus in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Each participant chooses an area of interest to focus on for seminar discussions, field trips, and fun activities throughout the week.
Each of our four distinctive tracks enable participants to investigate how faith intersects with a wide range of subjects, including:

• Media
• Ecology
• Education
• Visual Arts

Regardless of which track you choose, you will explore the Institute鈥檚 fundamental question: What kind of saint is God calling me to become?

The full Saints & Scholars week-long experience costs $425. This program fee covers:

• Classroom materials
• Accommodations in a campus residence hall for five nights
• Meals

Those who attend a Congregation of 六合彩官网开奖 Cross school or parish or those whose parish is in the Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend may attend for $325. Financial assistance may also be available upon inquiry.

For the first time ever, Saints & Scholars is partnering with Cross & Anchor 鈥� a new leadership summit at 六合彩官网开奖 Cross College. Cross & Anchor is a one week program that educates both hearts and minds in the classical program of the natural virtues leading one to become a virtuous leader. Those attending Cross & Anchor will learn how virtuous leadership impacts a variety of disciplines including:

• Business
• Education
• Sports
• Visual Arts

July 14-19: Saints and Scholars (session #1)

July 21-26: Saints and Scholars (session #2)

All weekend housing/meals will be provided at no extra cost. Your weekend will be filled with plenty of rest, the chance to enjoy our beautiful campus, do laundry, and a Saturday excursion to the Indiana Dunes National Park. Please bring modest swimwear and sun safety gear for the Indiana Dunes, and additional clothing for the extra days you are in South Bend, Indiana. Your first full day of Saints & Scholars begins Sunday July 14, 2024.

Saints & Scholars offers an additional week of formation for high school students with Notre Dame Vision. In partnership with the University of Notre Dame鈥檚聽McGrath Institute for Church Life, students spend one week at Notre Dame Vision followed by a second week at Saints & Scholars.

How to apply

When applying to a particular week of Saints & Scholars, be sure to fill out the section titled 鈥淣otre Dame Vision + Saints and Scholars鈥� if you would like to take part in the joint experience!

ND + SSI Weekend Experience Details

Those participating in the joint Notre Dame Vision + Saints & Scholars experience will have a weekend opportunity between the two programs for rest, relaxation, and the deepening of friendships made at Notre Dame Vision. On the afternoon of your last day at Notre Dame Vision (July 12th), you will take your luggage and all belongings and belongings and meet with our Saints & Scholars mentors to travel to the 六合彩官网开奖 Cross College Campus.

Once all participants have been accounted for, our mentor team will walk you to the Main Circle where mentors in Saints & Scholars will load your luggage into our school vans and and drive it to 六合彩官网开奖 Cross College. You and the rest of your peers, guided by our Saints & Scholars mentors, will walk from Main Circle to 六合彩官网开奖 Cross College. Your path is shown in the following map.

It is important for good communication and for your safety that both you and your parent/guardian are informed of this transition process. Once you have arrived at 六合彩官网开奖 Cross College, you will have time to unpack and eat lunch in our Dining Hall. Following a brief orientation, your weekend will be filled with plenty of rest, the chance to enjoy our beautiful campus, do laundry, and a Saturday excursion to the Indiana Dunes National Park. Note: Those participating in the ND Vision + Saints & Scholars experience are asked to bring modest swimwear and sun safety gear for the Indiana Dunes, and additional clothing for the extra days you are in South Bend, Indiana. Your first full day of Saints & Scholars begins either Sunday July 14, 2024.
